That's actually better, certainly not for Joe, but for my argument
that maybe Obama's plans for taxes and health care weren't the only
things preventing Joe from starting his own business. Perhaps Joe
should try to fix his own problems before accusing politicians of
dancing like Sammy Davis.

By the way, since when is starting a business "the American dream?"
I've heard of home ownership as "the American dream," as well as
having a spouse, two kids, a dog, and a home with a picket fence. But
until McCain mentioned it last night, I'd never heard of owning a
business as "the American dream."

I can't help but wonder if this largely irrelevant "Joe the plumber"
faux pa (sp?) isn't a clever technique by the McCain campaign to
distract the public from more relevant mistakes (like choosing Palin).
