Even though the NY Times reports she had a posse to protect
her consisting of "Mark Salter, the closest adviser to Mr. McCain, the
Republican nominee for president; Tucker Eskew, one of her advisers; and
Tracey Schmitt, her spokeswoman"
the segments hurt the campaign.

  They reinforced the negative image of her & she looked like an idiot
waving her hands on Weekend Update (I hope it quickly is edited
into videos).

  And NBC was very quick with the take down notices on YouTube:

"This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by NBC
Universal"

  If they had been smart, they would have posted the clips on YouTube
quickly.
