I am actually not sure if I record any 10:00 programs because once I
set the season pass I never pay attention any more to what day or time
a show airs. As I think about it, I think Life is probably on at
10:00, and maybe Num3rs, and probably Life on Mars - so there is 3.
And it is possible The Unit is on at 10:00, but that might be a 9:00
show. If it is 10:00 then I am recording 4. I think TDS airs at 10:00
the first time out here, but I record the next day AM show, so I guess
that does not count.

But I don't understand the reasoning here - even if it is true that
DVR users are watching programs recorded earlier, what would stop them
from still recording 10:00 programs if they wanted to?
