David Morrissey is part of the Christmas Who Special, entitled "The Next
Doctor" - so I think he could be in the mix. The photos of him and Tennant on
the set don't say what character Morrissey plays, but his costume is similar
enough to Tennant's that it makes me wonder.

As a previous thread discussed the racial harmony the series has
always tried to promote, how about a doctor of African, Indian, or
even Middle Eastern descent? Or perhaps they could do as they did at
the end of Rowan Atkinson's Who parody and cast a woman in the role.
