I'd think the View bit with Elizabeth being rabidly anti-Obama to the point of obsession (making it, you know proBama and anti Hasselbeck), the cannonball shot through Olbermann's hot air balloon, and the 5-10 anti McCain jokes in Weekend Update along with McCain's just plain weird "double maverick" monologue, Ben's "I tend to support the losers" endorsement and the initial "we're so poor we have to do QVC and my running mate is going rogue" was playing it right down the middle in terms of red state/blue state mockery. Whoever wins, SNL is ready to tear down over the next 93 shows. And we still do have Monday night's Presidential Bash recap show promising new microbits that could included an real-Obama seg. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Like TV only smarter.
