The real question now is why Lane hasn't gotten her job back...or any job for that matter. She really didn't do anything wrong (The police incident in New York was quickly dismissed.) and she's clearly a victim.
Naturally, her choices in the Philly market are small. She can't work for Fox 29 because their main 10 o'clock anchor is Mendte's wife Dawn Stensland. 6ABC wouldn't touch her because they don't need her. Which leaves NBC10 and her old station KYW. Surely she'd drop KYW off the lawsuit she's filed if they gave her back her old job, but I think that train has sailed. NBC10 might be the best fit anyway. Their main female anchor at 11 is the wife of a politician who is only increasing in prominence...which means she can't cover him and it opens NBC10 to charges of favortism.
