This was supposed to be part of the MRC-controlled Sunday night CW
lineup, but wasn't ready for the fall, so got postponed to the
spring. Since The CW ended that arrangement, I don't know where it's
going to end up now--I assume the warmup guy didn't say anything. I'm
almost guessing that they'll sell it to Lifetime or TBS, since those
channels seem to be interested in old school multi-camera sitcoms.
I'm sorry to hear that Cynthia Stevenson grated on you in performance
live--I think she's utterly delightful in almost everything I'm seen
her in ("Men in Trees" most recently, along with one helluva ensemble
that made up for Anne Heche as the star).
