Bogus?

Who actually owns waterproof footwear?  Other than boots?

If it does snow, P Gage will have to invest in some boots once he's here -- 
provided he still insists on standing on the Mall in inclement weather.  But I 
wouldn't spend the money -- unless it really does snow (more than a few 
flakes).

The layers advice is sound. The sneakers advice is bogus: Forget sneakers. Your 
footwear must be WATERPROOF.
