Since Thursday, I've been dealing with what began as a minor backache. It has gotten progressively worse and I've had intense pain up and down my right leg to the point where I've mot been able to sleep or work much. It began at lower right back/hip and has snaked down to shin and back somewhat floating at times or all the leg.
But what else can you do but attempt back and body ache targetted aspirin, assorted mineral ice / sports liniments, and or charcoal heat wraps ... unless none of those or a hot/bathtub attempt does anything to relieve the pain even momentarily. Today I had the panicked thought (given a family history) that it might be a blood clot in the leg and went to the emergency room. Having spent a few hours and likely several hundred dollars there... in addition to bad blood pressure (stroke imminent levels) and blood sugar (whaddayawant I was in an Oreo mood)... It's not a blood clot ... Could be a herniated disc or pinched nerve Was there a couple hours as they tried to lower the blood pressure with an IV. An MRI in the coming days may determine whatever's up ... That said ... nobody has really asked where the Remote Patrol was. Back to whatever we're all doing.
