A venture of three of the UK's four terrestrial broadcasters--the BBC (through its for-profit arm BBC Worldwide), ITV and Channel 4--to create a major programming streaming web site dubbed "Project Kangaroo" has been scuttled under charges of unfair competition, which leaves the Beeb as the only major full-length programming streamer in the UK (and the UK only)--for now:
