I listened to the radio interview at the time, and while Simon Mayo, the interviewer, was obviously talking about wider issues than Young's latest album and acting roles, it was Young himself who said he'd love to appear on Question Time and watched it every week. A little later during the interview, they put through a producer who then invited him live on air to appear on a later edition.
