In related reality news, I royally ticked off one of my Facebook
friends (now a former Facebook friend) who works in the casting office
of a certain reality series. She mentioned auditions were being held
for the next season, and I happened to post on her profile that the
recent experience of watching a seven-hour marathon of the series left
me openly weeping in a fetal position. In the past, we had compared
notes on all of the respective bad TV shows we've worked over the
years, so I figured she'd take the jab in the playful spirit in which
it was intended. Little did I know she thought this particular reality
show was akin to Shakespeare. Little did I know one of the executive
producers was also one of her Facebook friends.

Live and learn.
