I read a great explanation for why there's no "feedback loop" for the participants in the documentary - the show isn't seen in the United States. Rather, "An American Office" (according to IMDb, the title of The Office internationally) is produced and shown only in one country, in a language that doesn't "export" well - say, Estonia. Dwight Schrute would be a huge celebrity on the streets of Tallinn, but remains suitably anonymous here. The explanation actually makes a lot of sense, from why the show would be produced in the first place (it's more to show "life in America" than "life in a paper company") to why there's no "outside reaction." Nobody in America, including the characters, has ever actually seen the show. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV .... Smart (TV) People on Ice!
