When you open an email client, it downloads the account's email and
removes it from the server. You can try going into
preferences/properties/options and see if you can find a "keep a copy
of the message on the server" option. As long as storage space isn't a
problem you can manage that way. Remember that deleting a message in
the client won't delete the message from the server.

In general I'd say to only use the client with Juno and your browser
for Gmail/Hotmail, etc. I know how hard it can be to train a parent to
change the way he/she performs tasks on the computer. What I would do
is to put a shortcut to the Juno client on the desktop and rename it
"Email." Then tell your Dad to click on that to get his email.
