He could stop over-pronouncing the Latin/Spanish players names and
that would be OK with me.  His
pronunciation of Carlos Beltran (Carlos BelTRAHN) sounds nothing like the
way Carlos Beltran pronounces his name in promo spots before the Mets games
on WFAN.

And if it is so important to do that over-pronunciation with the Latin
names, why not extend the same courtesy to folks like Hideki Matusi and the
rest of the Japanese players?

My mileage varies.
