There doesn't seem to be anything in their bios to suggest that conclusion,
and their site isn't one of the ones listed on NBCUMarketplace.com as being
one of theirs..

>From their about us page:

Bill Gorman and Robert Seidman have known each other for 15 years. Back in
1994, Seidman was publishing an online newsletter about the Internet and
that almost always included AOL. Gorman, who worked for AOL until 1998 read
it. They have been having spirited debates ever since.

First meeting when they both lived in the Virginia burbs of Washington,
D.C., serendipity landed them 6 blocks apart in San Francisco where they’ve
lunched regularly ever since. At one lunch Seidman expressed his dismay at
the lack of web resources that focused on data for the television industry.
Gorman went home and validated this via Google searching and TV by the
Numbers was born.

Gorman is enthusiastic about television and very passionate about numbers
and statistics and Seidman is obsessed with both television and statistics.
Anyway, NBC told Time Magazine that as long as they keep the same numbers
they get with him at 11:30, they'll be OK. I can't see how, but there you
go...
