This show was mentioned last year as "they're going to be doing a
'Sliders' parody". I guess the payoff for that joke was left on the
cutting room floor. The only direct 'Sliders' references were the
'device' and the open wormhole at the end of the episode. I guess
another "Quantum Leap" reference was a bit more mainstream than having
a universe where Cleveland is called "The Cryin' Man".
