Someone emailed me that very argument. It's a valid one, too. But they could just have likely known about the previous taping, as there was around an hour gap between the end of the first show and the audience entering the second. Information about the first show could very well have leaked out by then among the crowd. And the media would have surely heard about it immediately, as there were live feeds available.
It seems entirely conceivable to me that the second audience, or portions of it, was aware of what had happened earlier.
