Some astute writing in this week's Late Show Newsletter: Paul Shaffer makes his first guest appearance on LATE SHOW tomorrow night, to promote his new autobiography. He had guested twice on LATE NIGHT: to promote his role in the film "This Is Spinal Tap" on March 20, 1984), and to plug his first solo CD, "Coast to Coast," five years later on July 21, 1989.
