Because, having endured enough Oprah in my lifetime, and more than enough of Palin, I don't see the point of their happy talk. Oprah won't confront Palin about their disagreements... not on any serious level anyway. And Palin lacks the debating skills to argue with Oprah about any issue. So, we'll hear about her book and her family and her son overseas. And we'll hear a few gentle jabs at Letterman and Tina Fey and the mainstream press and those East Coast/West Coast elite. And she'll sidestep questions about her resignation, or that she cost McCain the White House. And, perhaps worst of all, she'll wink. If I thought for a minute that either woman would actively engage in a debate, I'd be there (I'm stunned to live in a day and age when actual debate between two people with legitimate disagreements is considered uncivil, but here we are).
