Condé Nast, Meredith, Time, Hearst, and (surprise!) NewsCorp will offer their various products for portable devices (e.g. competitor Amazon's Kindle) in what they say will be fully-cross-compatible formats...it'll be fully running in a year, but apps for smart-phones could be out before that...
