In search of something to serve as background noise, I cued up the pilot episode of Magnum. I'm not sure when the first season of the series made its way onto Hulu, but I'm pleased it did. That said, somebody did a hatchet job on the pilot. They dropped in the main title sequence used in the rest of the series, and took out not just the pilot's original title sequence (centered around the symbol on Magnum's ring), but they seem to have rearranged the order of scenes, too. I don't know if this is the syndicated edit of the show or why else they would have done this, but it is sure a jumbled mess from what I remember.
