The special was scheduled for 8:30 before Fox knew they were definitely
getting a late game, though -- it was showing at 8:30 in the program
listings on my DVR as of January 2nd.  (I believe even last week's
Entertainment Weekly, which would have been printed couple days before
that, had the start time as 8:30.)

But I suspect that it was the CHANCE of a late game that led them to put
the special at 8:30.
