The chief was referring to the first two regular episodes after the pilot in 
his review:

While I kept watching after I think BSG jumped the shark (when it threw its 
science-fiction realism out the window), I still haven't managed to watch the 
final five hours (yeah, pun intended).  I won't be on board for what appears to 
be a Century City/Dynasty hybrid with robots and explosions.

I agree with AB at least based on the DVD that this is not too promising, but I
