It may be waiting for Comcast to take over and bring over help from
the cable cavalry--I don't care for Chelsea Handler's comedy and
panels (which seem to be saying "celebrities suck" every night), but
she's pretty good with her interviews, especially now that she's
getting better guests than when she started--many nights, the
interviews could last much longer than the four minutes allotted.
And if she wants to stay in the cocoon of the Big Red Exclamation
Point, they've got all those "Soup" show hosts on four different
channels to pick from ("The Tonight Show with Topanga!")
