Rosie asked to do a puppet number, FWIW.

Rosie and Craig also discussed the Late Night Wars during the show. If you've
heard the Howard Stern links that were sent around last week, you'll be
familiar with Rosie's points. A little too much Stern stern-kissing, but a
good discussion.

Probably in an effort to mix it up, C-Ferg has done a number of taped bits for
the cold open over the last two weeks, most notably the trailer for Jersey
Shore: The Movie. Wednesday's open was pretty surreal (hell, that whole show
was out there).

Despite suggestions that he was abandoning the puppets that
occasionally appear in the cold open to amusing effect, C-Ferg
unleahed another memorable puppet-assisted lip-sync on last night's
"Late Late Show" - this one with no less than Rosie O'Donnell taking
the lead on the Robert Palmer hit "Addicted to Love" while a mini-
skirted, fishnet-wearing, not-quite-runway-ready quartet vamps around
her.
