It just so happens that I have an assortment of half a dozen Muppet-style puppets in my classroom. When cleaning them up for a class video production project (I repaired one eyeball and hot-glued some hair -- as someone with a lazy eye and receding hairline, it was a vicarious experience), I noticed that one of them genuinely reminds me of Janis Joplin.
