Meanwhile, this morning "Democracy Now!" showed Kumaritashvili in the
start shack but not the actual accident (in what looked like a clip
taken from the Canadian world feed--I didn't have my glasses on, so I
couldn't read what was under the Olympic rings bug--since after all,
Amy Goodman won't let the jackals of evil corporate capitalist
AmeriKKKa at GE-owned for now NBC dictate to her what to run).

Meanwhile, in a long piece from "Vancouver Media Co-Op" on the
protests accompanying the Games, we were treated to cops beating up
protesters and some schmuck breaking a display window at a Hudson's
Bay store and letting out some garbage about the Hudson's Bay company
purposely infecting the aboriginal people (I guess what we used to
call "Indians") with diseases years ago. What is it among the
extremists on both sides that they want to judge someone (Sen. Byrd)
or something (Hudson's Bay) for something they did years ago and are
not doing now?
