I respectfully disagree.

Hundreds/Dozens of people went down the track with no problems at all. Tourists could be strapped to a pro (ala a tandem skydive) for $200 and those people were hitting 150kph.

I feel awful for this man, his family and respect the courage of his countrymen to be in the parade of athletes. However, this track was faster than *HIS* brain/body could handle, not all of the others who were incident free.

A track was designed for top speeds of 160+kph and I would lay blame with the officials for not opening the track up for practice sooner.
