I want to rant about this and I've got no other forum, so you are all
stuck with me.
I'm going through "The Wire" on Netflix and just finished season 3.
Omar and the FOI guy iced Stringer Bell. This is a MAJOR freaking plot
point. And it was so hokey the way they did it. It was like a bad soap
opera. The series has been so perfect up until now and this was a
major stumble. They could have done something more realistic, more
dramatic. The only saving grace was that Stringer Bell's last words
about "Get on with it" were repeated by the Major at his demotion.
Getting ready to start season 4, though, which a coworker calls the best.
