Don't know for sure.  The U.S. stand-up special I saw was story-based, but in 
the conventional hour long series of semi-related tales that many stand-ups 
have done for television.  I think that's different enough from what Gray did 
that it's not the same thing.

Now I'm very unfamiliar with what Ferguson did during his U.K.-based career.  
I've seen snippets of various comedy performances, but I can't claim any 
serious knowledge of all he did before coming Stateside in the early to mid 90s.
