For a while there, Fritz was doing weekly monologues at a theater in
Burbank. I don't know if he still does. I know, at the time, it was
nearly impossible to get tickets. PBS aired one of his monologues
maybe six or seven years ago. All I'll say about Fritz is that there
were few people on the NBC lot who were nicer than he was. He made a
point of remembering names and stopping to say hello if you passed in
the hallway -- not just waving as he walked by, but stopping.

Good to know there are still others out there.

I've often thought of assembling my Peace Corps/Kazakhstan stories
into some sort of a monologue, but I'd have no venue to put on the
show.
