At the top of Monday night's show, Bergeron said that if there had
been an elimination last week, the first contestant booted would've
been "one of our most talked-about stars." Which seems to set up that
Pamela Anderson (who is not exactly loved by the older women that make
up "Dancing"'s most loyal audience) and Shannen Doherty (ditto) were
marked women.

In the past, it's been proved that anyone with a devoted fan base can
stay on "Dancing" far longer than the judges (or the producers) want
them to (which means that even if He Who Must Not Be Named has two
left feet, he would have a good run on the show--right, Melissa?).
There's also the "vote for the worst" factor, although that web site
is more interested with "Idol" (and wants you to vote for Tim just to
piss Simon off)--the only times they were active with "Dancing" was to
urge voting for Marie Osmond and Cloris Leachman. There were enough
Morning Zoos out there that kept Master P on past his sell-by date.
Right now, I'm suspecting that Kate Gosselin has more fans, especially
in Bible Belt America, than us snarky wiseacres on this board think
actually exist.
