Christopher Titus, he of the eponymous sitcom with Stacy Keach, was on a local
morning show in DC promoting a stand-up gig in the area. Almost as an aside he
stated he was up for a hosting gig for American Top Gear against one other guy.
The local show hosts didn't know what Top Gear was, so the conversation
shifted topics quickly.

This, of course, means squat about whether a show will actually air. Titus is
a legitimate gearhead, and his stand-up is varied enough to make me think he
could do a decent hosting job. Kind of depends on who else would be involved.
Kevin's suggestion of Leno, Letterman and Conan would be excellent, but
unlikely.
