This is all very odd, since I don't know if Kilby appealed to female demos at COM or CBS. I will say that the Fox-owned stations seem to have been able to find daytime talk formats that are working. But Kilby is neither a solid hour of medical information with the Oprah seal of approval (Dr. Oz) or a gossipy hour with a woman who could be a drag queen but isn't (Wendy Williams). I don't really see Kilby thriving in that atmosphere, but if Springer has thrived in daytime for all these years (and I suspect that the Bill Cunningham show will be more like Springer than the Boss Limbaugh TV show, especially with the former Springer showrunner's presence), perhaps Kilby could. -- TV or Not TV ....
