I'd watch the Fishbowl show, and if the Russian Tra La La La guy is
still alive, I hope someone is trying to track him down and interview
him.

NBC has been sticking it to the unions for decades. I was working on
the Burbank lot when they "permanently" closed the famed Commissary,
only to reopen it a few weeks later as a non-union operation. That
went over like a fart in church. The union guys would walk in, take
all the silverware and trays and throw them into the dumpsters. All
the glass cups and ceramic plates were broken and had to be replaced
with plastic -- which were then taken and thrown out. When the union
guys were banned from the cafeteria, we non-union P.A.s were
encouraged/threatened/bribed to pick up where they left off.

Ah, memories.
