Yeah, that might be a bit unfair to conservatives. In my conservative
sterotype, I tend to think they are the ones who enjoy the big
CGI-filled, smash-bang, action films like "Avatar." And, if memory
serves, it was during CBS' more conservative era when they cancelled
"Andy Griffith/Mayberry RFD" and all the other shows featuring
southern good 'ol boys (though I could have my years mixed up there).
And though it has been a while since I last checked, I thought 700
Club's numbers were lower than most infomercials, at least lower than
the other fare on the channel it is contractually occupied to remain
on until the rapture.

I'd be curious how many subscribers this service actually has.

In my picture-perfect world of 'a la carte' network availability,
where subscribers decided which channels get the license fees as
opposed to major corporations and special interest groups paying off
cable distributors, I can't imagine most of the above-listed networks
would survive other than the major sports channels.
