I read Bill Carter's book on "Desparate Networks" and Carter or someone calls the "Desparate Housewives" pilot perfect. So I finally Netflixed it. The pilot played fine but the disc screwed up after that so I didn't watch any subsequent episodes. I'm curious what's in the box the father dug up and threw into the water and how that fits in with the narrator's suicide. Also, how many episodes or seasons does it take for Teri Hatcher to hook up with the plumber?
