Last night's Tony Awards show was (not counting the audio disasters and the inevitable "here's your hat, what's your hurry" as 11 p.m. approached) the best in many years. *Many* years.
Channeling my day job, though, I do have to object to Lea Michele's Streisand impersonation. Kid, if you're going to sing the song, don't steal all of Babs's licks. I want to hear your interpretation, not an "authentic reproduction."
