The whole situation of L&O's cancellation has been bothering me. I see
no reason why it should have been canceled.

• Have they run out of NY crime stories? Please! Just open the NY
Daily News or NY Post.
• Have the locales become too familiar? I've lived here my whole life
and continually find new and interesting places, and I'm just talking
about Manhattan.
• Have the cast become too expensive? Change them. One thing that has
marked the L&O franchise's enduring success is that the players can be
changed at any time.
• Too expensive to shoot in NYC? I'd argue about the talent pool of
principal actors and especially background actors that all have an L&O
credit on their resumes from one time or another. Besides, dropping
the expense of NY for the expense of L.A.? Really??

Stories, locale, talent and a 20 season pedigree -- to drop L&O prime,
and keep other L&O spin-offs just doesn't make sense to me.
