I watched the clips and listened to the latest Bill Burr podcast, and
I have to agree that O'Reilly came off the winner here. Behar and
Goldberg came across as hysterical women. I expect that from Behar,
but I would hope for better from Goldberg. Walters' ability to
maintain her composure reminds me of what we are missing in the
current generation of journalists (or talk show hosts, for that
matter). Geraldo's old daytime show was the lowest of the low and his
guests on the show were lower than that, but he never walked off his
own show. It is sad that anyone can be compared negatively to Geraldo
or that someone's behavior can make O'Reilly look good. But that is
what happened here.

I'd be curious if Joy or Whoopi did any sort of mea culpa on the next
day's show, because they genuinely let down their viewers and those
who agree with their point-of-view. I'd give my left eye to be able to
engage O'Reilly in a debate; those girls (and when you throw a hissy
fit and storm off stage you are girls, not women) had a chance and
forfeited it.
