No video clips up as yet.

I was there. The crowd crushed the Metro system, so while I got there on time,
it was about four blocks from the stage. But they at least set up several
screens for viewing. Unfortunately, the audio quality was not consistent, so
one musical number and some of the other performers words didn't make it to the
middle (and I'm assuming the back as well).

FWIW, 12-1 was a 'pre-show' with music and Mythbusters. Adam and Jamie had us
making noises, doing the wave, and jumping up and down. The explanations was
one of the parts that didn't come through clearly in the audio. All I know for
sure is that however many of us there were (the only number I heard was
150,000), we can register on seismic monitors if we jump up and down at roughly
the same time.

(Since Kari Byron, also of Mythbusters, was here Sunday for the Science and
Engineering Festival, you could actually see in person most of the cast in one
week. Kind of rare outside of Comic-Con.)

Lots of music (the Roots are definitely the house band du jour right now, with
the chops to justify it), and with the exception of four or five minutes near
the end (Jon Stewart tried to explain where he was coming from with all this),
the rest was poking fun at rallies, rhetoric, and media coverage of same.

Arianna and Oprah were neither seen nor mentioned, and while some of the signs
focused on traditional left-wing complaints, most folks were attuned to the
spirit and surreality of restoring sanity in the face of keeping fear alive.

But, as Stewart said, what happened today won't matter, the media coverage of
it
will.

Though I do have internet, and C-Span is accessible in Central Asia, I
lack the bandwidth to view the rally live. OK, not technically true...
I can view apx. 3 seconds, then it buffers for two minutes, then I can
view another three seconds... it is actually how I would prefer to
watch the Golden Globes. With luck, I will get the internet upgrade in
the coming week and catch up. In the meantime, to anyone who may be at
the rally... YouTube please.
