What a delightful team to root for - I can't tell how this is being seen across the country (I guess the WS is just a yawn unless one of the big E(spn)astern teams is playing in it) but from out here by the Bay it seems impossible that anyone who enjoys baseball wouldn't just fall in love with these guys. I think we were the team with the third longest WS drought, and of all the years when we made it to the postseason this in some ways may have been the most improbable, but to a fan I think we all felt something special was happening here since at least August. We knew if we could just get to the post-season out pitching was just KICK ASS, and would make us tough to beat. The national media never seemed to understand just how studly our pitching was - they would cite the numbers, but then discount it. But we knew. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
