I think you've got something there. And I find it humorous that the teabaggers have been able to do (even if unwittingly) what Howard Stern, a raft of other radio DJs and several bloggers and decriers of the evils of reality television have been unable to do--throw a monkey wrench into a talent competition show. I have the feeling that Tom Bergeron is dreading the possibility of having to announce on Nov. 23 at 7:55 PT that Bristol Palin is the Season 11 winner of "Dancing With the Stars" and is probably scared that his ditzoid sidekick will, once she comes up on stage to congratulate her daughter, let Caribou Barbie blather on and on. -- TV or Not TV ....
