Well, he's also doing a game show for ABC that will air in the spring or summer. And for Americans, his wife, Tess Daly, is Bruce Forsyth's sidekick on "Strictly Come Dancing." Which means, I assume, that she doesn't get the airtime that Tom Bergeron's sidekicks get in the U.S. on "DWTS." That's because while Brooke Burke, et al, are working with a journeyman host, Tess is working with a Certified UK TV Icon who gets-- I presume--much more solo airtime than Bergeron does. While Bergeron always appears with Burke at the top of the show, I assume that Forsyth gets his entrance and the opportunity to do his "so nice to see you, to see you...NICE!" catch phrase. (And on the Sunday results show, which is taped later the previous evening with the same audience as the live performance show, I presume he opens with his "you're so much better than that lot we had last night" line he's used for years on game shows that tape multiple episodes in a day.) -- TV or Not TV ....
