There's an odd situation in progress in Charlotte, NC, where an armed
gunwoman entered the WSOC-TV (ABC/9) studio at 5:05pm ET today while they
were broadcasting the afternoon news. WSOC-TV has been off the air since
then, but they are providing updates via Twitter. Two of the other stations
in town (WBTV and WCNC) are reporting live from outside WSOC's studios.
Odd, but not without precedent.
Cleveland, 1984: similar situation, different end result.
