I can't put WTF in my main podcast rotation because I find them so hit and miss. I don't find Maron to be particularly funny as a comic (he is not unfunny, he is just not the kind of guy who is consistently or naturally funny, to me). But he often has great insight into the life of a comic, and the process of being a comic, and of being a professional entertainer on the margins of break-out success, and that is interesting. He also can sometimes be a good interviewer, and draw out interesting things from the people he is talking too - but he can also preside over long gripe sessions, or meaningless and un-intertaining banter. I try to listen to the ones that have on people that might be interesting, or that I hear from other people were particularly good. But I don't make a point of listneing to every one. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People! You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TV or Not TV" group.
