In the case of Biel, I think she keeps choosing roles that are beneath
her. She seems to be striving to be the next Sandra Bullock, who
always seemed to be striving to be the next Julia Roberts. I can't
stand Sandra or Julia, and can't figure out why Jessica insists on
following that path instead of carving out an original place for
herself in either film or television.

And, yeah, Olivia Munn appeals to the geek in me. I can't defend it
any better than that, except to say that's what others say about Tina
Fey, whom I couldn't stand to be in the same room with for more than a
few seconds.
