I've long felt that the Aussies do the better American accents. Toni Collette always sounds believable on "United States of Tara" (in what is admittedly a showcase for her chameleon-like talents), much better than Tracey Ullman's accents on "State of the Union" on Showtime. And when Naomi Watts does her American accent, she almost always sounds so sexy. When she's talking naturally, she sounds like she's having a smoke with Bea, Doreen and Lzzie at the Wentworth Detention Centre laundry. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
