But things that spring to mind: - He's writing for a tour (I notice he has a couple of gigs coming up next month that he might be using for testing material) - He's writing another radio series (try to get to listen to either Civilization or The Ape That Got Lucky for examples of what I mean) - He's got another acting gig (he's in the UK version of Skins) - They're recording the next series of The Thick of It (I think Iannucci is recording his HBO pilot first though) - Something else I suspect that it's difficult to write regular material for the radio and put together other material outside that.
